Who Are “Our People”? 

When we talk about our people, just like most businesses do, we usually talk about our employees and subcontractors; individuals or businesses who uphold the core values of our business and make the work happen day in and day out. Those employees are quite litereally our people, but at Dale Koontz Builder, we often talk about "our people"...otherwise known as the loyal customers we've served on a repeat basis for years. 

Our mission has always been clear: to build custom homes and remodel spaces for clients who value professionalism, craftsmanship, and integrity. More recently, we’ve started using a broader phrase to guide our work—meeting the shelter needs of our clients. It reflects our commitment to being a reliable partner for all things home-related, whether that’s a full renovation, a new custom build, or just helpful advice on minor repairs.  

That’s what it means to be our people. It’s not a contract—it’s a relationship. Many of our clients become repeat customers, not because they have to, but because they want to. These long-standing relationships are at the heart of what we do. 

Once you’re part of the Dale Koontz Builder family, we do everything we can to support you. That might mean prioritizing a small job you need done quickly or connecting you with trusted subcontractors for something outside our scope. We believe in being a resource, not just a contractor. 

Because when we say our people, we mean it—and we’re proud to be your first call, no matter the size of the project.
