2024 Recap and Looking Ahead

A summary of 2024 and look ahead at 2025.

Reflecting on a Remarkable 2024 at DKB

 As the year draws to a close, we at DKB take this opportunity to reflect on the milestones and achievements that have defined 2024. It has been an extraordinary year marked by growth, new challenges, and exciting opportunities. 

A Year of Exceptional Projects and Growth 

In 2024, we proudly handed over the keys to five stunning new custom homes and closed out more than 90 remodel/miscellaneous projects ranging from small home improvements to major transformations and additions. We also put a new spec home on the market in Mt. Sterling, Illinois. From kitchens to bathrooms, full-scale restorations/redesigns to brand-new construction, we’ve had the privilege of working with incredible homeowners to turn their visions into reality. We completed many of these projects for returning clients, a testament to the trust and satisfaction we’ve built over the years. For this, we are deeply grateful. 

This year also saw the addition of several talented individuals to our growing team. Each new member brings fresh perspectives and valuable expertise, further enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship. 

Looking Ahead 

As we close out 2024, we are planning an ambitious lineup for 2025. Already this December, we poured the foundation and began framing a custom home scheduled for completion in 2025. Additionally, we have several new home contracts in the works, promising another busy and productive year ahead. We’re also making significant progress on the Koontz Properties/Vista Way Apartments project in Hannibal, Missouri. Infrastructure is being installed as we prepare to expand the site with additional units, marking another milestone for the DKB/KP businesses.
