Supporting the Adams County CEO Program

Students learn from Koontz owners about the homebuilding industry

Students from the 2022-2023 class of the Adams County CEO Program visited a job site in September to learn about the residential construction industry from Tim, Scott and Matt Koontz.  Roger Leenerts, coordinator for the program, brought a group of 15 seniors from area high schools to see what happens in the construction of a new home.

The Koontz family shared information about the broad industry and the multitudes of available career paths, and also answered questions about their specific family business.  "We love to meet the sharp young folks that are part of the CEO program," said Scott Koontz "and we enjoy the chance to share our story - as well as talk about opportunities in construction".

This is the 3rd year in a row that Dale Koontz - Builder has hosted a group of CEO students.
