Koontz to Chair Chamber Board

Scott Koontz to lead Board for Quincy Area Chamber

At the January 19, 2022 annual meeting of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce, Scott Koontz was introduced as the Board Chair for the year.  "I've been serving on the Chamber board for 5 years," said Koontz "and I'm looking forward to leading the Board this year in continuing our service to the business community." 

The Koontz family has a legacy of community service.  Founder Dale Koontz served in various roles with his church, the local Home Builders Association and on the City of Quincy Plan Commission.  Current President of Dale Koontz - Builder, Tim Koontz, has served for many years on the Blessing Health System board, in addition to service on other boards for church, school and community betterment.

"We have been blessed to be part of a great community that has been so hospitable to our business.  We want to do our part to give back in service to our community" said Scott.
