2 Retirements at Koontz Builder

Kent Mowen and Bill Dietrich are hanging up their hammers

It is with mixed emotions that Dale Koontz Builder announces the retirement of 2 of our carpenters at the end of 2021.  Kent Mowen and Bill Dietrich will be moving on to the next phase of life and giving up the regular weekday workload as this year draws to a close.

Kent joined the Koontz team in 2014 after spending a number of years in the industry with another builder.  His high energy never dimmed during his tenure with our team, and we are thankful for his productivity over the years here.  Kent and his wife Robin will continue to travel the country via motorcycle, certainly hitting the Sturgis rally again in the coming years.

Bill has been part of the Koontz crew since 2015 and came to us with a variety of experiences under his belt.  During his time here, Bill became a favorite of any customer whose home he entered.  Patient, careful and an excellent communicator, Bill was tremendous at remodeling and making folks feel comfortable as work was progressing.  Bill and Barb will be enjoying family time during their retirement years together.

We are sad, of course, to lose 2 good guys - but happy for Kent and Bill that they will begin to enjoy this new part of life.  Please join us in wishing them the best.
