Saying our Farewells

Paul Tieman and Roger Baker retire this summer

We are happy (and sad) to announce the retirements of 2 gentlemen who have been with us for many years.

Paul Tieman worked his last day at Dale Koontz - Builder pouring concrete on May 1, 2020.  Paul started with the company when the only people in it were Dale and Donna Koontz and Dave Tieman.  That was the fall of 1976!  After 43 years of hard work, Paul is retiring to spend time at home fixing up his own house, helping his Mom and enjoying rides on the new side by side that he got from his wife as a retirement gift.

On July 10th we will celebrate Roger Baker's retirement from the company.  Roger has been working for DKB for "only" about 30 years!!  We will miss Roger's ability to solve problems and his vast knowledge about things in our industry.  Roger will be doing some traveling in retirement - seeing parts of the country that are still new to him, and watching some of his family participate in college athletics.

We will miss both of these guys and we thank them wholeheartedly for their many years of service!
