What do you stand for?

Recent exercise confirms and reinforces company values

As a business owner, a person has an idea of what kind of company he or she wants to run.  However, you are often not certain that the values you believe in are being understood and carried out by every member of your team.  During the last few months we took the time to go through an exercise with our team members to see what they thought was important about our business - in other words, "What makes Dale Koontz Builder be Dale Koontz Builder?"

I am excited to tell you that their answers to that question lined up perfectly with the answers that the owners came up with (and No, we didn't give them the answers).  Take a look at what our people say our company is all about:

At Dale Koontz – Builder, we say what we mean and we mean what we say.  We show up when we say we are going to show up, do what we said we would do and charge what we told you it would cost.  We don’t hide our mistakes, but we fix them.  We treat people the way that we want to be treated: with honesty and integrity

We plan.  We organize.  We document.  We use professional methods and the best practices of the industry.  We are always learning and improving.  We contribute to the community as any strong business would. This is not a hobby or a side job for us – but an important career for the members of our team, and for their families.

Ask our previous customers, our vendors, subcontractors and the area Realtors.  Koontz is synonymous with quality.  “Good enough” won’t be good enough.  We will go “above and beyond” to produce the best possible product that we can.  If there is trouble, we will stand behind our work and make it right.  Everything that we do will be a reflection of high quality and good value for the money.  Our team knows that concern for the quality of the finished product trumps all.
