The Summer Ahead for Koontz Builder

What are your summer plans? Here are ours...

As we approach Memorial Day, the country will pause to honor all the men and women who have sacrificed to keep our great country safe and free.  As the traditional “kick off to summer”, Memorial Day is also the kick off to the busiest building time of the year.  As we look forward to the summer of 2015, here’s what’s on the docket for the team at Quincy’s premier custom home builder:

Tuscany Fields – where the action is.

Already in this calendar year we have completed a new home in this neighborhood for a couple moving in to Quincy.  This summer there will be another new family in town enjoying a brand new home here, and a third family will be watching their home go up.  This subdivision at 38th and Harrison streets is a hotbed of activity now and for the summer ahead.

 Remodeling remains hot.

In addition to the activity on new homes, it appears that there will be no shortage of remodeling projects for the Koontz team.  We have started or will complete the following kinds of projects this summer: window replacements, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, and whole house renovation.  It is clear that many people who would not be interested in moving to a new home are very interested in fixing up the home that they already have!

Summer vacations are for builders, too.

Even though the summer is a great time to get work done, it’s fun to get away from work and spend time with family and friends.  This summer we have people expecting grandchildren, planning trips to the ball game and gearing up for a trip to Sturgis!  All work and no play make Dale a dull builder – so we encourage our staff to use their paid vacation, to do whatever they enjoy.

That’s what’s ahead for the Koontz Builder team this summer.  We hope you and your family enjoy a great summer, too.
