New Apartments Under Construction

Koontz expands with 1 bed units at 45th and State

Koontz Properties, LLC has begun construction on their final apartment building at Hickory Pointe, 45^th and State in Quincy, IL.

There are currently 54 apartments at the complex and all of them are 2 bedroom units with attached one car garages.  Six new apartments are being built on a slightly smaller footprint, and they will be 1 bedroom units – bringing the total number of front doors on the property to 60.

The new units will rent for $675 per month and include an open concept living room and kitchen area, in-unit laundry hook up, pantry closet, walk in closet in the bedroom and ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and bath.

“We’re off to a bit of a slow start due to the extreme early cold weather – but we hope to have these units ready to rent in the spring” says Scott Koontz.  “We get a lot of requests for one bedroom apartments, and we think our clients will find these to be a nice option.”
