Koontz Properties Expansion

Additional units to be added at 45th and State

Koontz Properties, LLC has announced the upcoming expansion of its Hickory Pointe location in Quincy, IL.  As the sister company to Dale Koontz - Builder, Inc., Koontz Properties serves the Quincy market with 1 and 2 bedroom rental properties.  The Hickory Pointe Apartments at 45th and State Street currently have 46 rental units.

“An adjacent piece of property became available for sale,” says Scott Koontz “and we had the opportunity to purchase it and expand what we are doing here at Hickory Pointe.”  The expansion will add 8 more 2 bedroom rental units and 6 units with 1 bedroom.  “We continue to receive more calls from people looking for places than we have units available” says Koontz.

The process of installing the storm sewer and sanitary sewer has begun, with the City of Quincy installing water lines soon afterward.  New street should be completed this fall and the construction of the first new apartment building should begin in the last months of 2013.  Further questions about the Hickory Pointe Apartments can be directed to Scott Koontz at scott@koontzproperties.com.
