Professional Builders Alliance meets in Quincy, IL

Koontz brothers host meeting of builders from US and Canada

The Professional Builders Alliance will hold its semi-annual meeting in Quincy, IL during the second week of April.

Members of this group are all home builders with membership in the National Association of Homebuilders (www.nahb.org) who meet to compare notes on the building business and critique the operations of participating members of the Alliance.

Dale Koontz Builder of Quincy will host members from cities such as Washington DC, Grand Rapids, State College and Albuquerque.  Visiting builders will discuss current local and national conditions in the building business and share best practices learned during the recent economic downturn.  Hosts Tim and Scott Koontz will take their guests on a tour of homes in the Tuscany and Cambridge subdivisions, as well as treating them to a stop in the historic east end district to view a renovation that was completed there.

Wendy Cohen of PowerHouse Advisors will be making a presentation to the group of builders, seeking to assist with strategies to define their companies and communicate with their clients and potential customers.  Representatives of Lowe’s, Lutron and Thermador will also be offering their insights to the group - as those companies are official sponsors of the Professional Builders Alliance’s umbrella organization, the Builder 20 Clubs.
